TATCHA

Dancing in Waters – Beloved Combo

This combo that I cheekily named Dancing in Water was quite a favorite of mine in 2016 and it was discovered by surprise. I received each of the products at a different time. I had used them separately and suddenly had an inkling to layer them together. Then the magic happens.

The major keyword in this post will be hydration. The two products in the spotlight are TATCHA Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate and Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. I will individually review them and hopefully it’ll explain why the combo got its name ;)

More Lip Balm Loves

You know, lip balms are those easy things to buy (and try) and yet, they can be trivial. Their purpose is to moisturize the lips and sometimes, more often than not, they do the opposite. I can see why this can be frustrating. When I found the one that I really love (NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm), there’s no doubt I would use it until the last dip. However, it took a really long time and I started to get the itch to try new ones.

This is a problem for beauty junkies. But if we don’t try new products every now and then, we’ll never know where they could take us. We’ll wonder and I can’t handle it.

In this post, I’m going to share some of the lip balms in my repertoire that I’ve been enjoying in the past few months.

TATCHA Soothing Silk Body Butter – Life Saver

I rarely share my body care rituals because.. I don’t really have one. I mean, not an extensive routine like my skincare one. There are products that I use but not consistently. You know, I’ll only use them when I feel the need to. I’m sure some of you can relate.

However, there is one particular product that I keep going back to. It’s also a family’s favorite.

TATCHA Indigo Soothing Silk Body Butter.

Eye Treatments on The Roll

Over the past year, I’ve been lucky enough to be given several eye treatment products from various brands for me to try. I don’t usually go out and buy different ones because A, they are mostly expensive. B, my experience in the past isn’t exactly a swell as my eyes often felt stung or got watery when I wore them. So when I found the ones that work for me, I stick to them (e.g. Sunday Riley Start Over and Kahina Eye Serum).

Thank goodness these three that I’m about to share happen to be friendly on my eyes (and skin). I have no trouble using them on a daily basis.

As always, eye treatments are always a hit and miss with people. I can’t promise you anything other than my honest opinion based on my own experience.

Antipodes Apostle Serum – Carrying A Few Messages

Yet another cheesy title. I know. It will all make sense in a bit.

Say hello to Antipodes Apostle Skin-Brightening Serum, another product from the New Zealand brand that I came to really enjoy using. I didn’t love it from the get go. I needed some time to adjust and get used to it.

This serum was the first on my wishlist, simply because it has the skin-brightening words on it. When I hear stuff like that, naturally I got curious because I have a lot of hyperpigmentation from post-acne spots that I would love to get rid off. But mostly, my skin can get really uneven in tone, blotchy and it’s something that I need to tackle pretty much on a daily basis.

Let’s dissect this serum.
